BEGINNERS LEVEL 1
For students with little or no previous yoga experience. The Beginners 1 course will cover the fundamental asana (physical postures), pranayama (yogic breathing) and class sequencing commonly practiced in yoga classes. The course also provides an overview on yogic philosophy and de-mystifies the many different styles of yoga. Numbers are limited to ensure each participant receives teacher time and detailed guidance throughout the course.
BEGINNERS LEVEL 2
An 8-week course building on the foundations established in Beginners Level 1. Continue your exploration and build on your foundation of asana (postures), pranayama (breath work) and awareness. This slow vinyasa flow-style practice will guide you into clear alignment, deepen your connection with the breath, and provide insight into key aspects of yoga philosophy and a heart-centred yoga practice. Students will work with a balance of both strong and more restorative yoga poses and sequences, and will be guided according to their needs and abilities, honouring that each person, each body, and each moment is different. Perfect for those who have a basic knowledge of yoga and who also want to continue to develop strength, flexibility, alignment and awareness in a clear, safe and nurturing progression.
