This GENTLE YOGA class provides an opportunity for everyone to practice yoga regardless of experience, injuries, level of flexibility and strength! This class is about letting go of expectations and attending to the body’s needs in each new moment.
A well rounded physical yoga practice is instructed over 50-60 minutes followed by a restorative and or meditation practice of 15-20 minutes. Focus is given to slow fluid and mindful movement with a strong connection to the breath. Props are used such as chairs, the wall, the floor, blankets, bolsters and more to support all body types to safely perform different yoga postures.
Whilst this class is supportive of people with injuries more able bodied people who wish to incorporate a more gentle and restorative practice are very welcome.
Numbers for this class are limited so that I can give special attention to those with injuries and certain needs.
Common injuries or conditions include:
- Knee injuries
- Ankle injuries
- Spinal disk injuries
- Shoulder injuries
- Headaches / Migraines

WHAT TO WEAR AND BRING:
No need to bring a yoga mat unless you want to. Please wear comfortable easy to move in clothing.
