The MBSR program helps participants develop life long mindfulness skills that will enhance their wellbeing, resilience and quality of life, even when facing stress, illness, injury, relationship issues, or simply the challenging demands of everyday life.

MBSR History & Benefits
The MBSR Program was first developed by Professor Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979 at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. This program is now highly renowned and taught all around the world supporting people to learn mindfulness skills to effectively manage their stress. The Program has undergone extensive research over the past 35 years, which has revealed significant benefits, including:

The MBSR Program Includes
- 8 Weekly sessions of 2.5hrs
- 1 Full day silent retreat
- Carefully guided mindfulness meditation practices
- 45 minutes of daily home practice to support the process of cultivating mindfulness
- Facilitated discussion, group activities and brief lectures
- Exploring patterns of thinking, feeling and action, and the process of transforming them
- Mindfulness Yoga and Movement
- Daily home assignments
